Bauma 2010
The 19th - 25th April heralded yet again the arrival of that certain time of year: the world's leading trade fair for construction machinery, building material machinery, mining machinery, construction vehicles and construction equipment - in short, bauma - opened its gates once more in Munich.
Although the ban on flying over Europe prevented visitors and ultimately some 50 exhibitors from overseas from attending, the exhibitors from 53 countries were in good humour at the end of the trade fair.
With 415,000 visitors, 3,150 exhibitors and a total exhibition area of 555,000 square metres that was completely booked out, bauma 2010 has once again lived up to its role of the world's leading trade fair.
The event was a total success for Dustcontrol this year also. During the trade fair, we had the pleasure of welcoming several hundred visitors to our stand.
This year, the trade fair focused mainly on the presentation of the new generation of air-cleaning equipment, in particular the introduction of the DC AirCube 500. The interest in and the response to the products was overwhelming.
